Koh Lanta has a wide range of accommodation, from inexpensive, simple bamboo huts on the beach to mid-range guesthouses and hotels, and even several 5-star resorts with all the luxury facilities.

Koh Lanta is a gorgeous tropical island in the Andaman Sea, offering you a perfect combination of peaceful Thailand with exceptional diving.  It’s not within the mass tourist route but can still easily be reached by Krabi’s new International airport, or directly by boat from Phuket, Krabi, or Langkawi, Malaysia.

The island is approximately 30 km in length and 3 km wide, and a great relaxed atmosphere exists between the local Thais and visitors.  Koh Lanta breathes peacefulness, still has near deserted beaches and fabulous authentic Thai food.  The island contains a national park with a tropical rainforest, perfect for a hike on foot or on the back of an elephant.

Head out for a tour of the caves or simply relax on one of the many beaches, working on your tan.  A wide variety of cuisines is available in the many restaurants, and a good night life scene exists, for those that do not dive early mornings!
